Our Services

ADHD Testing
We use NICHQ Vanderbilt Assessment Scales that are completed by the student's teachers and parents as part of the evaluation process for ADHD.
Those forms will be used together with an in-depth interview of the parents and patient in order to determine a diagnosis.

ADHD Treatment
The provider will meet with the parents and patient in order to develop an individualized treatment plan that includes behavior and medication therapy if needed.
If a patient is taking a stimulant medication then they will need a follow-up visit every 3 months per best medical practice guidelines.

AUTISM Testing
Our autism testing consists of 3 separate appointments.
-
At the first appointment, the specialist will meet with the family in order to review with them the pre-appointment questionnaires and listen to all concerns and questions of the parents. At that time, a decision will be made whether to preform further testing. When and if the specialist and parents decide to move forward, the details of that testing will be discussed thoroughly.
-
At the second visit, the ADOS-2 Diagnostic Assessment will be administered to the child by the autism specialist. This may take up to 1.5 hours.
-
At the third visit, the specialist will discuss with the parents the testing results, answer all questions and provide a detailed written report of the testing results.

AUTISM Treatment
After the diagnosis is established, the provider will provide recommendations for school modifications and individualized treatment and will be available to advocate for school needs.
